Only one fixture was played in the Premier League today as Brighton & Hove Albion and Newcastle United battled it out for all three points at the AMEX Stadium.
The fixture was flawlessly won by the Seagulls as they cruised past the Magpies with an emphatic 3-0 victory at home.
Leandro Trossard scored the opener in the fixture after he scored from outside the box in the 45+3 minute. Danny Welbeck scored Brighton's second goal of the fixture in the 51st minute to make it 2-1 before Neal Maupay wrapped up the fixture by scoring in the 68th minute to make it 3-0 at full time.
After Today's Match, this is how the Premier League table looks like.
Brighton & Hove Albion are still at the 16th spot on the league table with 32 points while Newcastle United trails behind at the 17th spot on the table with 28 points.
