Chelsea Can Cope Against Norwich City, Despite Their Injury Crisis

Defending European champions and current Premier League table toppers Chelsea are back in action on Saturday afternoon, as they play hosts to relegation threatened Norwich City at Stamford Bridge in a Matchday Nine domestic fixture.

The Blues will be looking to seal a victory which will give them all three points, while guaranteeing them their place at the top of the Premier League standings. Chelsea will be brimming with swagger and confidence, especially after dismantling Swedish side Malmo 4-0 in the UEFA Champions League in midweek. Most importantly, they got the win despite two of their strikers namely Romelu Lukaku and Timo Werner going off injured in the game.

While the Blues are sweating over the recovery of both Lukaku and Werner, they have more than enough firepower and the extra quality to tear apart Norwich City. They can call on the likes of Kai Havertz, Hakim Ziyech, Callum Hudson-Odoi, Ruben Loftus-Cheek and Co to see them through against the Canaries.

Blues manager Thomas Tuchel has confirmed that Romelu Lukaku and Timo Werner, who picked up injuries against Malmo on Wednesday night, would be out for the game tomorrow and for further games. Furthermore, he revealed that American forward Christian Pulisic is unavailable, as he is not yet fit to start.
