Four major things to know in Barcelona's 3-1 comeback win against Valencia at the Camp Nou

Ronald Koeman's led Barcelona team were in action yesterday in their 8th league game of the Spanish La Liga Santander against Valencia at the Camp Nou.

Barcelona in the game were able to bounce back to winning ways after their inconsistent run of form before the international break as they still struggle to adapt to life after the departure of their talisman, Lionel Messi to Paris Saint Germain.

The show of the night was quite an intriguing one as it featured so many things at the advantage of the host as they keep their pursuit going in the competition.

Here are four major things to note in the thrillling encounter between the two La Liga giants:

- Argentine forward and former Manchester City star, Sergio Kun Aguero made his long awaited debut for the Los Blaugrana since him arrival at the Camp Nou in the last summer transfer window.

Sergio Aguero in the game made his first appearance in La Liga more than ten (10) years since his last game on 21st May 2011 when Gavira Pablo (Gavi), his current teammate was 6 years old and 289 days.

- Memphis Depay in the game was outstanding as he scored a goal from the spot and created the assist for his side's equaliser after been one goal behind.

The Dutch has scored and provided an assist both in a single game for the first time for FC Barcelona in all competitions. He has done it for the first time in a single league game at home since August 2019 during his spell at Lyon where he scored two goals and created one assist.

- Barcelona new number 10, Ansu Fati played his first game as a starter for the club since November 2020 when he played against Real Betis, and has since then been involved in eight goals in his previous 9 games as a starter in all competitions (6 goals and 2 assists).

The football young talent fired home superb leveller and won a penalty in his first start since last November which is a clear indication that Lionel Messi's number 10 iconic shirt is in safe hands.

- Philippe Coutinho in the game scored his first goal for Barcelona since last November which was instrumental in their 3-1 comeback win.

The Brazilian star showed signs of life as he run the show after coming off from the bench to net the fantastic goal that sealed the whole maximum three points of the game for the Catalan giant.

Barcelona with the win will now be hoping to keep the tempo going in their next fixture as they currently sit at the 7th spot on the table, so as to continue their pursuit in the competition.
