Shortly after the ongoing International break, Manchester United will travel to the King Power Stadium where they will take on Leicester City in their 8th Premier league game of the season. The match is scheduled to kick-off next week Saturday and will mark the 31st meeting between the sides in the top flight since 1992.
However, the last time both teams met at the aforementioned stadium, strikes from Marcus Rashford and Bruno Fernandes were cancelled out by Barnes and Axel Tuanzebe's own goal in a 2-2 draw and this is to say that their matches have always been feisty.
Ahead of the crunch clash, check out the active Manchester United player who has scored the most goals against the Foxes in the Premier league.
Marcus Rashford (5 Goals)
The Englishman is Manchester United's most prolific goalscorer against Leicester City in the Premier league. Altogether, he has bagged five goals since he made his debut back in 2016 and is closely followed by Juan Mata who has scored four times against the Foxes.
However, Rashford has been out since the beginning of this campaign owing to a surgery he had on his left shoulder, but it is likely that he may be fit in time to travel with the squad to the King Power Stadium on October 16th. But regardless of whether Rashford plays or not, the Red Devils have a big job to do if they are to come away with a positive result against the Foxes. The game will kick start by 15:00 West Africa Standard time next week Saturday and will be shown live on Super Sports.
