- Chelsea versus Norwich City

Thomas Tuchel's Chelsea team will host last-place Norwich City at the Stamford Bridge Stadium for the opening match of the Premier League today. Norwich City have only earned two points so far.

Chelsea have been reported to be without star attackers Romelu Lukaku and Timo Werner, but Chelsea have one of the biggest squads in the Premier League, so it will be no problem for the London club.

Prediction: Chelsea will triumph.

- Brighton Hove Albion versus Manchester City

In a powerful clash at the American Express Community Stadium, Brighton Hove Albion, who sit in fourth place in the Premier League with fifteen points, host third-place Manchester City with seventeen points.

It will be a very difficult game for Pep Guardiola's men as Brighton Hove Albion have gone six games consecutively in the Premier League without a single defeat while Manchester City have only managed three.

Based on previous encounters, Manchester City are the favourites as they have won eight times in ten meetings, while Brighton Hove Albion have won twice.

Prediction: Manchester City will come out victorious.
