Chelsea hands Levi Colwill a new contract, check how he will help solve Hakimi's transfer issues

Hakimi Achraf have finally agreed personal terms with Paris Saint Germain despite Chelsea's interest in signing him. Thomas Tuchel can actually use Reece James in that right-back position but Hakimi seems to be a better option because of his speed and attacking ability.

On the other hand, Levi Colwill who is an Academy youngster was also given a new 4-year contract, he is only 18 years and has been promoted to senior team.

Levi Colwill will not join the senior team immediately, the blues are planning on the sending him out on a loan. Levi Colwill will play as a center-back, this will give Thomas Tuchel the option of playing Reece James at the right-back position.

Chelsea missed out on Hakimi because of Inter Milan's high asking price, the blues wanted to use players like Marcos Alonso and Emerson in order to reduce the price to €50m.Aside from a right-back, Chelsea also wants to strenghten other position such as the defensive midfield area and the number 9 position.

Levi Colwill can make it into Chelsea first XI if Thiago Silva retires and this will pave way for other youngsters into the team.
