Super Eagles goalkeeper , Maduka Okoye was yet again in action for Spatar Rotterdam in their 24th league game of the season against FC Emmen at the De Oude Meerdijk.
Maduka Okoye was handed a role in the starting XI following his outstanding performance for the club this season, he was able to impress by salvaging a point for his side.
The Nigerian star was very coordinated as he put up some fine saves to denied the opponent till the last minute of the game before conceding a penalty to end the show of the night one all draw.
The visitor opened the scoring sheet in the 43rd minutes of the game with Laros Duarte getting on the score sheet to put the visiting team ahead and make it one nil into the half time break.
The host also put up some brilliant fight to level the game but all their efforts proved futile until the 96th minutes when they were awarded a penalty, as Michael de Leeuw put the ball away from the spot to end the game 1-1.
The draw for Sparta Rotterdam has now taken them to the 13th position on the Netherlands Eredivisie table with 24 points in 24 games played.
