Cristiano Ronaldo scored his 24th seria-A goal of the season to rescued a point for Juventus at local rivals Torino earlier today, preventing the old ladies from humiliation at the hands of their noisy neighbours.
CR7 found the back of the net with only less than 20 min's remaining on the clock. The Portuguese international stirred a header pass the Torino goalie to bring the game level on the night.
Cristiano Ronaldo has scored more Serie A goals than any other player since he made his debut in the competition (76).
No other Juventus player has scored more than 20 in that time. 🤯
In respect to Ronaldo's rescue goal, Juventus would have 16 less points and be ranked 10th in the Serie A if it wasn't for Cristiano Ronaldo's game winning goal contributions this season.
Ronaldo is arguably the most important piece in this Juventus team. He's always the man to get the goals for the Old ladies, it's unfortunate the defence aren't doing enough to help the team retain the Scudetto this season.
