You will recall that the award announcement was made in July 2020, but due to the pandemic, the ceremony and celebration was postponed until now.
The 23-year-old footballer is the youngest recipient of an honorary degree in the history of The University of Manchester having won the prestigious award because of his ongoing charity work and well publicised Campaign child poverty off the pitch.
Marcus Rashford Family and Friends were in attendance to see Rashford receive his award from the University of Manchester President and Vice Chancellor, Professor Dame Nancy Rothwell.
