Phil Jones was training alone, not with the rest of the group, and isn't in contention to feature against Spanish side, Granada.
For Phil Jones, just being out there back at Carrington is progress. He has had a tough time.

It is clear at this stage Jones isn't the player the English Giants wanted him to become, and he needs a fresh start
To do so, the England International has to get fit, and the timing is quite positive here, ahead of the transfer market.
Phil Jones has a few weeks to recover and could even come in and make a brief outing from the bench at the end of the campaign in a league match if the Red Devils qualify for next campaign’s UEFA Champions League early.
At this stage you just have to wish the Englishman well and hope he can recover fully and stay fit, secure a move elsewhere, and try and kick on at a team which is willing to grant him regular first team chances.
At age 29, Phil Jones should still have plenty to offer
