As has been the case in recent seasons, the first and second legs will not be symmetrical.
MADRID - BARÇA, MATCHDAY 9
The first clásico of the season will be played at the Santiago Bernabéu on matchday 9. The match is scheduled for the weekend of 15-16 October. For its part, the second round match in Barcelona will be played on the weekend of 18-19 March and will correspond to the 26th matchday of the championship.
In the 21st century, the first leg clásico will have been played 16 times at the Camp Nou to just seven at the Santiago Bernabéu/Valdebebas, but this year will be different. To date, more than two thirds of the Barça-Madrid derbies have been played at the home ground, or, in other words, Barça has hosted less than a third of the second leg derbies, the one that defines the championships.
