Chelsea is presently one of the biggest clubs in the Premier League, this can be seen in the weekly wages of the players playing for Chelsea. Chelsea's players are currently receiving benefiting wages and at the same time they are some players whose wages are far below their standard, because these players are doing very well for the team. One of such players is Edouard Mendy. He is the number one choice goalkeeper, yet his weekly wages is three times lesser than Kepa Arizabalaga's wages.
The reason for the article is to compare Kepa and Edouard Mendy's wages and then, to know the weekly wages of all the current Chelsea players.
Romelu Lukaku, who just signed for Chelsea from Inter Milan, is top of the list. He is the highest paid player at Chelsea presently as he receives a whopping sum of £325 000 a week. This figure makes him one of the highest paid players in the EPL.
Ngolo Kante Is another player who earns massively at Chelsea, the French international received £290 000 a week at Chelsea, making him the second highest paid player at Chelsea.
Edouard Mendy and Kepa Arizabalaga are the two active goalkeepers for Chelsea, with Mendy the number one choice goalkeeper, but this does not reflect in the payment at all.
Kepa Arizabalaga receives £155 000 a week and the Senegalese star, Edouard Mendy receives £52 000 a week. This is almost three times lesser than Kepa Arizabalaga wages. Take a look at the wages of the players below.
Another player who receives less than he should, is Antonio Rudiger. He is presently one of the best players at Chelsea, if he is not the best, and he is not in the top ten highest earners at Chelsea. He receives £100 000 a week, but he has demanded for an increment in wages before he signs a contract extension for Chelsea.
The question is? Do you think Antonio Rudiger and Edouard Mendy are being paid well at Chelsea, considering the amount that others receives? Let's know your thoughts in the comments' section.
