Premier League champions and champions league champions of last season, will be meeting for the first time, since their clash in the champions league final. Manchester City will be looking ready to beat the blues, as they would not want to fall to a fourth consecutive defeat to Chelsea.
Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola once again has everyone fit and raring to go for Saturday's premier league clash with Chelsea.
Players To Start this weekend against Chelsea:-
Ederson, the number one goalkeeper for Manchester City is expected to be in Goal against Chelsea, this weekend.
Kyle Walker is guaranteed to start on the right-hand side of the defense, and a revived Joao Cancelo could keep Oleksandr Zinchenko out of the team, while Ruben Dias and Nathan Ake will continue their ever-impressive partnership in the center back role.
Guardiola will be looking for a lot of attacking power against Chelsea, so I expect him to play two attacking midfielders and one defensive midfielder, to be precise Kevin De Bruyne alongside Ilkay Gundogan and Fernandinho. With a good and experienced defensive midfielder like Fernandinho, Kevin De Bruyne will worry less about defensive duties in the midfield and be able to play in a more advanced attacking position.
Despite not scoring a lot of goals since he joined Manchester City, Grealish is guaranteed to start, as Guardiola knows with the kind of quality he possesses he can sure hurt Chelsea's defense. Ferran Torres is expected to start this game alongside Mahrez after the two players were rested in the weekend game against Southampton.
In summary here is my predicted Manchester City lineup for the weekend clash against Chelsea: Ederson; Walker, Dias, Ake, Cancelo, Fernandinho, Gundogan, KDB, Mahrez, Grealish, Torres.
