After Chelsea defeated Pep Guardiola side a couple of weeks ago, to book their place in the FA cup final, most Chelsea fans would have taken Manchester city as the easiest opponent they can face in the UCL final, however their performance tonight suggest other wise, and it's time Chelsea have to consider Pep Guardiola's team as the favorite to lift the trophy in Istanbul.
Manchester city were the better side from the first whistle to the final whistle, nudging the ball around, ad if they were on the training pitch, before they finally found the break through in the second half. Neymar tried his best, Mbappe was silenced, but above all, it was City's determination to make history that makes the difference in Paris.
The tie is far from over, but City have put themselves in a good position to make it to the final, where they could meet Chelsea, who recorded a positive result at Madrid the previous night. As it stand, Manchester city look unstoppable, not even Thomas Tuchel and his boys can withstand these determined Pep Guardiola side.
Manchester city are driven by their past failures, and they seems ready to put the pains of the past to bed by lifting the UCL this term, it will take some effort to stop them, the mission looks impossible, with the way they dispatch PSG at home, any team could struggle to hold them.
Chelsea, must awake now, and take note of this city side. Everything have pointed at history repeating itself, but it will not come easily, not when Pep Guardiola and his boys are in town. Chelsea beware! You are not going to have it easy.
