From Lampard's choice of new players, Chelsea fans cant wait for next season to start. Not only that Hakim Ziyech and Timo Werner has been signed but the likes of Jan Oblak, Andre Onana, Kai Havertz and Upamecano are around the corner for them to be signed as rumour might have it. When a team starts getting closer to European standard, these are the things we see. The formation above shows how Chelsea will have the strongest team in Europe next season if some more deals gets completed.
As seen in that line up, the defensive line consists of Dayot Upamecano and Fikayo Tomori while Reece James and Ben Chilwell becomes the right and left wing-backs. This defence is good and also have the ability to withstand much pressure especially with Jan Oblak at the goal post. Also, N'golo kante and Mateo Kovacic will be seen at the defensive midfield position, both are very good with interceptions especially kante who will be there to prevent any counter attack focused on the blues.
Kai Havertz will be the attacking midfielder here, he is just 21 but have gathered much experience compared to other youths of his age. He will handle the take-ons, making Chelsea to play in a fluid formation where by Christian Pulisic and Hakim Ziyech could be seen in every part of the attack. Timo Werner will be at the striking position, he is a finisher and will also convert most chances created by these talented trio. These team would truly be the best European team if these players are signed.
