Religion is one of the most sensitive part of one's life, whether he is a celebrity or not. We have heard stories of footballers who switched from one religion to the other due to specific reasons. Ribery was born in France in 1983. In 2002, he converted to Islam under the influence of his wife who was born in Algeria. This is what Ribery said, "Religion is my personal thing. I am a believer and since I converted to Islam, I think, I became stronger, I became mentally and physically stronger.
