It is a great beginning to the fresh calendar year for Apollo Crews as World Wrestling Entertainment superstar courtesy of a victory on the first day of January.
Wrestler of Nigeria descent, Apollo Crews was in action on Friday night at the first show of the year for WWE as the competitors on the blue brand.

Intercontinental Champion Big E and King of the Ring winner Baron Corbin slug it out in a non title fight with Big E defeating King Corbin through disqualification after Sami Zayn interfered from the ring side.


Apollo Crews came out of the backroom to rescue Big E from a two versus one situation which led to a tag team match.


Tag team expert Big E struck a great partnership with Apollo Crews as they defeated the duo of Sami Zayn and King Corbin after Corbin walked out on Sami Zayn during the match.


Apollo Crews has been having some sort of rivalry with Sami Zayn in the last few weeks on SmackDown but it is left to be seen if he will compete in the annual Royal Rumble event this month.
