Team News.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is optimistic of a positive turnaround after his side suffered a 5-0 home humiliation from Liverpool. Manchester United fell to a biggest defeat of the season to the Jurgen Klopp's side at Old Trafford few weeks after suffering a woeful 4-2 lose to Leicester City at the King Power's stadium.

According to report, the Manchester United's board are fully behind Ole and there is currently no ongoing talk to sack the Norwegian tactician aftermath the heavy defeat to Liverpool. Ole is setting his sights on United's next three games in bid to fight back after a disappointing result in the weekend. The players are still gelling to the tactics of the Norwegian gaffer and a better performance would be expected in upcoming games no doubt. Manchester United shift focus to Tottenham's game away from home and arguably the clash with the Nuno Espirito Santos's side would be a very important fixture for the Red Devils.

Injury Update.

There is currently no fresh injury concern for Manchester United heading into Tottenham's game. Ole Gunnar Solskjaer will be hopeful of having Raphael Varane back into the squad as the French defender continue to build his fitness after he sustained a calf injury with France while on international duty with the world champions. Arguably, Varane's absence have cause lot of problems for the Manchester United's defense considering their performances in recent games since the Frenchman was ruled out. Hopefully, Raphael Varane will return to join the squad in training this week prior to Tottenham's game on Saturday.

Varane is working his way to complete fitness and a return is expected from the Frenchman any time soon.
