Following the exit of some top players from the Spanish League in the just concluded transfer window, the LaLiga President, Javier Tebas, has been pouring out his anger on PSG and the entire French football for what he described as "reckless spending". Javier Tebas claimed that the huge wage bill of PSG is higher than what the French club earns as revenue.

According to the LaLiga President, the actions of PSG is as dangerous as what the proposed Super League would have done to football if it was allowed to succeed. Tebas also tagged the French League " a league of legends. Tebas' attack on PSG and the French league was because of PSG's latest acquisition of Ramos and Lionel Messi from Barcelona.
Shortly after the relentless attacks on the French League and PSG by the LaLiga President, PSG's General Secretary, Victoriano Melero has replied to the comments of the LaLiga President. According to Melero, it is difficult to understand why the LaLiga President is bent on attacking French teams and clubs from other leagues because of the problems Spanish teams are currently facing.

According to Melero, Tebas has formed the habit of formulating defamatory statements which suggest that PSG does not comply with the football financial regulations. Melero noted that contrary to what the head of LaLiga thinks, PSG complies with UEFA and French financial regulations.
Melero said that the current financial crisis being witnessed in Spain is unlikely going to happen in France because the French football authorities had already put measures in place to avoid such things from happening in the French League. Melero urged the Spanish football head to focus on Real Madrid and Barcelona who are doing everything possible to break away from the Spanish and UEFA competitions with the proposed introduction of the Super League.

Tebas' anger was increased further when it was disclosed that PSG spends £515 million on player's annual salaries. It was also revealed that Televisions in France do not pay PSG anything more than £60.1 million as TV rights. Tebas has been wondering how PAG has been willing to sign up all the big earners they have in their squad when they have been spending more than they earn.
