Ahead of the Premier League round 9 fixture, Manchester United and Manchester City's matches may likely be a blessing in disguise to the Blues as both teams would be playing against the closest clubs to Chelsea on the Premier League table.
In the Premier League round 9 fixture, Manchester United who is currently 5th on the EPL table would play against Liverpool who is currently 2nd. On the other hand, Manchester City who is currently 3rd would take on Brighton who is currently 4th on the Premier League table.
At the end of the Premier League round 9 fixture next week, the top 5 teams except for Chelsea, would have played against each other, hence, at least 2 teams out of the top 5 teams would likely drop points. This would likely be a blessing to Chelsea as it would see their closest EPL title contenders drop points.
