English Premier League giants Leicester City football club have reacted, after Super Eagles of Nigeria Striker Kelechi Iheanacho netted the club's only goal to guide them to a 1-0 victory over Southampton FC, in the Semi final of the Emirates FA Cup, to book their spot in this season's final.
The Nigerian international who has been superb for the Foxes since the beginning of last month continues his impressive performance, as he netted a goal to guide them to a deserved victory.
The former Manchester City football club of England Striker was given another starting role in his team's attack by coach Brendan Rodgers alongside Jamie Vardy, and they were able to impress.
After playing a goalless draw in the first half, Kelechi Iheanacho scored Leicester City's only goal of the game in the 55th minutes, and the only goal was enough to guide the Foxes to the final of this season's Emirates FA Cup.
Reacting after Kelechi Iheanacho netted his team's only goal against Ralph Hasenhuetti led Southampton football club, Leicester City posted on their verified Instagram handle that;
"10 goals in 7 matches for Kelechi Iheanacho! 🤯."
The Nigerian international has now netted the total number of 15 goals for Brendan Rodgers led Leicester City Football club this season, and he'll be looking forward to continuing his impressive performance when they play their next League game in few days time.
