Chelsea are closing in on their third summer signing as some huge news is coming today from a very reliable transfer source close to Kai Havertz deal to Chelsea this summer.
The Daily Mail have revealed a report written by David Ornstein today suggesting that Chelsea 'are closing in' on a deal to complete Kai Havertz signing from Bayer Leverkusen this summer, with personal terms 'all but done'.
This will be a good news for Chelsea fans, and it appears like securing a Champions League football next season isn't required for this deal to go through.
David Ornstein also reported that Frank Lampard's side are the only team willing to pay a fee of €80million (plus add-ons) for Kai Havertz, and the German is keen on making a move to Stamford Bridge after talks with Frank Lampard.
Chelsea have already did a number good signings, with Hakim Ziyech and Timo Werner being added into the squad. Seeing Kai Havertz move to Stamford Bridge would prove how deadly Blues attack will be next season.
