Chelsea laboured to a 1-0 victory over Malmo in the UEFA Champions League group H on Tuesday evening.
The game was less interesting especially in the first half which yielded just one clear-cut opportunity for the visitors.
The first half ended goalless but Morocco international Hakim Ziyech scored the only goal on the night off a Hudson-Odoi assist in the 56th minute.
That was the only goal in the frustrating encounter but Chelsea stole all three points at stake and moved up the group H table.
Andreas Christensen and Ruben Loftus-Cheek are the two players that stood out on Tuesday with a high rating.
Here is the player's rating for Chelsea.
Edouard Mendy - 7 - The goalkeeper had no issues at all. Nothing to worry about all through the game.
Andreas Christensen - 8 - One of the two best rated on the night. Won five ground duels, five aerial duels and made four ball recoveries.
Thiago Silva - 7 - The Brazilian took good care of the central areas and stayed focused with not much work to do.
Antonio Rüdiger - 7 - Malmo's attackers didn't give him much stress. Less work for him, so he shone.
Cesar Azpilicueta - 6 - Sloppy in possession and just started to look his age at times.
Jorginho - 7 - Fine player on the night as he kept things going well.
Ruben Loftus-Cheek - 8 - The second of the two most rated players. Brilliant strength and footwork before working the keeper after the break.
Marcos Alonso - 6 - Cut a frustrated figure as he tried to get forward in the first period. Not really involved after the break.
Hakim Ziyech - 7 - Deserved his goal, tapping home from Hudson-Odoi's low cross. Subbed.
Kai Havertz - 7 - He was busy in the frontline asking questions from Malmo defence. Good work in the build-up to the opener, playing the false nine role to perfection.
Callum Hudson-Odoi - 7 - He gave his best. Cute one-two before blasting clear and laying it on a plate for Ziyech. Subbed.
