Arsenal football club of England put on an excellent performance on Saturday night, as they defeated English Premier League giants Manchester City FC 2-0 at Wembley Stadium to book a spot in the final.
The Citizens have defeated Mikel Arteta's Gunners twice in the English Premier League this season, but the Gunners were fantastic as they played one of their best matches of the season against Pep Guardiola's Manchester City.
The Gunners opened the scoring through Striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang in the 19th minutes. The Gunners would have doubled the lead in the first half but their efforts were not successful.
Aubameyang doubled the lead in the 71st minutes to make the score line 2-0 in favour of the Gunners.
Pep Guardiola had earlier charged his team to go for glory against the Gunners, in order to keep their hope of winning treble alive, but the defeat has brought an end to the Spaniard's dream.
Records broken in Arsenal's victory over Manchester City:
Football lovers have now started praising Mikel Arteta for his tactics against his boss, and they also showered praise on David Luiz and other players for the outstanding performance.
The victory over Manchester City means Arsenal will play the final with the winner between Chelsea FC and Manchester United at the same Wembley Stadium.
