Real Madrid squandered an opportunity to overtake Atletico Madrid as they will remain second on the table pending when Barcelona plays tomorrow. Barcelona could overtake Real Madrid if they win their match tomorrow while Atletico Madrid will extend their gap on Real Madrid if they also won their match.
