Man United beat Tottenham Hotspur on Sunday. Thanks to goals from Mason Greenwood, Fred and Edinson Cavani. The victory Extends United's lead over Leicester City to seven points and sees United close the gap on Man City.
However, Fred was phenomenal in United's victory over Tottenham Hotspur. The Brazilian Midfielder scored Man United's Equalizer in the second half. That attitude reminds us of Park Ji Sung who formed the habit of scoring goals against Big teams in moment of utmost importance. Park Ji Sung scored against the likes of Liverpool, Chelsea and Arsenal in important moments and that was what Fred did against Tottenham Hotspur. However, Fred is not used to scoring this Kind of goals and that's why there's still doubt whether he can become the New Park Ji Sung. His work rate is similar to that of Park Ji Sung but his goal scoring differs.
Fred will be hoping to retain his place when Man United take on Granada in the UEFA Europa League. Victory For Man United would see them lock horns with Roma or Ajax in the semi finals.
