Arsenal youngster Daniel Oyegoke has joined Brentford ahead of the start of the new season. The youngster's contract with the Gunners expired this summer.
According to reports, Daniel turned down a professional contract with Arsenal to join the Bees for - the start of - the 2020/2021 season. Daniel will hope to get first-team football soon with Brentford.
At Brentford, Daniel will be with Brentford B. He will hope to make the step to the first team. Originally a striker, the Nigerian striker joined Arsenal from Barnet four years ago.
After his signing, Brentford B coach Neil MacFarlane described Daniel as a fantastic signing for his team. He confirmed that he has seen him play well for England.
"I think Daniel is a fantastic signing for the B Team. He is been at Arsenal for several years, and we have seen him do particularly well for England recently.
MacFarlane told the official website of the club that Daniel will improve the B Team. Also, he described him as a modern full-back with a fantastic character.
"We want to keep improving the B Team every year, and a signing like Daniel can help us to do that.
"Daniel is a modern full-back who likes to get forward, and he can create for the team. He is a fantastic character and will be a good addition to the group."
The Nigerian full-back played eleven games for the U23s and four games for the U18s. Oyegoke signed three years contract with the Bees.
