The 2021/2022 European Football Season has officially kicked-started across different countries in Europe, but prior to the commencement of any football season, there's always a transfer window where football club-sides are handed the opportunity to bluster their team squad by signing up players from other football club-sides for a stated amount of money.
The transfer window is usually characterized by an opening date and closing date, where it's expected of football clubs to have wrapped up deals involving the sale and purchase of football players. Some football leagues across Europe are yet to make an official announcement regarding the deadline (closing date) for their transfer window, but in France, the organizers of the French League, popularly known as Ligue 1, have since announced that the 9th of June 2021 and the 31st of August, 2021 are the opening and closing dates for their transfer window respectively.
Paris Saint-German have been able to so far make effective use of this season's summer transfer window with the signing of Moroccan Defender Achraf Hakimi, Argentine Forward Lionel Messi, Spanish defender Sergio Ramos, Dutch Midfielder Georginio Wijnaldrum and Italian goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma.
One common factor amongst these players signed up so far by PSG is that none of the five aforementioned players had previously plyed their trade with any French club-side.
Here's a list of the 5 aforementioned players and the football club-sides they previously played for before they joined up with Paris Saint-German.
1) Archaf Hakimi
Real Madrid, Borussia Dortmund, Inter Milan
2) LIonel Messi
Newell's Old Boys, Barcelona.
3) Sergio Ramos
Sevilla, Real Madrid
4) GIanluigi Donnarumma
5) Georginio Wijnaldrum
PSV, Newcastle, Liverpool
Do you think the quintet of Lionel Messi, Archaf Hakimi, Gianluigi Donnarumma, Georginio Wijnaldrum, and Sergio Ramos will be able to have an impressive stint with French club-side Paris Saint-German?
