Wrestling has become a family business over the past few decades. The children of several WWE Hall of Famers are making names for themselves in WWE.

The likes of Cherolette Flair, Natalya, Tamina, Bray Wyatt and several other current and former WWE Superstars came from wrestling families. It now appears that there could be many more legacies in the future.

There are currently several next-generation Superstars coming through the ranks in WWE. The Rock's daughter Simone is set to become the first-ever fourth-generation superstar.

The following list looks at just five current WWE Superstars and employees whose children are currently training to be part of WWE.

#5. WWE Backstage Producer Fit Finlay

Finlay was once known as an on-screen WWE Superstar and is a former United States Champion. Finlay was released from WWE back in 2011 following a controversial decision at a WWE house show. He went on to work on the Independent Circuit before announcing his retirement in 2012.

WWE later rehired Finlay as a backstage producer. Over the past nine years, the former champion has been part of several cameo appearances whilst holding down his position in the company.

Finlay has also helped train several current WWE stars and has become a mentor to several others. It appears that the current crop of WWE performers are not the only stars looking to Finlay for his guidance in the business, since all of his children are training to be wrestlers.

His son David is currently wrestling with NJPW and is a former IWGP Tag Team Champion, whilst his daughter has won the Georgia State Championship. David has shown that he has inherited his father's skills and could be someone linked to a move to WWE in the future.

Finlay himself comes from a wrestling family since both his father and grandfather were professional wrestlers for companies outside of WWE, whilst his sister worked as a referee.

Finlay has been married twice and his first marriage to was to his former manager Princess Paula. The couple later went on to divorce and both of the star's children have been born during his marriage to his second wife Mel.

#4. Current WWE trainer/producer Robbie Brookside

Perhaps a somewhat unknown star to many members of the WWE Universe, Robbie Brookside is a wrestler in his own right. He was an active part of the business for almost three decades before his retirement in 2014.

Brookside's career was mostly spent on the Independent Circuit, but he did make a handful of appearances for both WCW and WWE in the early 2000s.

Brookside was hired by WWE as a Coach for the Performance Center back in 2013 after previously working as a talent scout for the company. Whilst Brookside teaches a beginners class at the PC and helps train several of the company's up-and-coming names, he is also a producer for NXT.

Brookside's daughter Xia is part of the NXT UK brand and, at just 22 years old, she has already been wrestling for almost a decade. Xia was trained by her father, Dean Allmark and Robbie Dynamite. She continues to sit under the learning tree of Brookside whilst working as part of the NXT UK brand.

#3. Current WWE Backstage Producer D-Von Dudley

D-Von Dudley was once one half of The Dudley Boyz, alongside Bubba Ray. Together, the duo dominated WWE's Tag Team Division throughout the Attitude Er

D-Von and Bubba Ray were even able to return to the company back in 2015 and pushed for that 10th Tag Team Championship run but were unable to attain it. D-Von has been working as a backstage producer for WWE since 2016 and was inducted into the Hall of Fame alongside Bubba Ray in 2018.

D-Von didn't officially retire from the business until May 2020. He has made several cameo appearances for WWE in the years he has worked backstage. He has mostly been involved in breaking up brawls or appearing as one of the company's legends on special episodes.

Whilst D-Von is currently seen as a WWE employee, his sons Terrence and Terrell have wrestled as enhancement talent for AEW in the past. Two of D-Von's four sons have opted to follow in their father's footsteps and could go on to grace a WWE ring in the future.

#2. Current WWE Superstar Rey Mysterio

Rey Mysterio has been part of the wrestling business for more than three decades. He made his debut back in 1989, but still wrestles at the highest level for WWE.

In recent years, Rey Mysterio has been able to bring both his son and daughter into the business alongside him. His son has gone on to become part of the company's main roster.

Dominik Mysterio has been part of several angles on WWE TV alongside his father and made his official in-ring debut with the company at SummerSlam last year.

Dominik's first appearance for the company came back in 2005 for Rey Mysterio's feud with Guerrero. His father and Guerrero eventually battled it out for custody of him in a ladder match at SummerSlam.

Over the past 15 years, Dominik has been working to be part of the business and has even trained under Lance Storm for several years. Rey Mysterio's daughter Aalyah was also part of WWE storylines for several months but hasn't decided to follow in her father's footsteps and train to become a wrestler.

#1. WWE CBO Stephanie McMahon and COO Triple H.

Stephanie McMahon and Triple H are the original power couple of WWE. Whilst neither star is considered to be an active performer for the company at present, the couple is still a huge part of backstage decisions.

Stephanie and Triple H are former Champions in WWE and, after working together on a storyline for Monday Night RAW, the couple went on to eventually marry in 2003. The duo has since gone on to welcome three daughters and it appears that their oldest is now looking to follow in her parents' footsteps.

McMahon has noted in several interviews in recent years that her eldest daughter Aurora Rose is looking to join the business:"

My eldest daughter has already started training and I would encourage them to follow their passion and whatever they believe in as long as they work hard at it. I believe in a strong work ethic and I believe they can do anything in the world they want to do but they are going to have to believe in themselves and work hard.”

Aurora is just 15 years old and has two younger sisters called Claire and Vaughn who were born in 2008 and 2010.
