BREAKING: See the first club to withdraw from European Super League.

Since the creation of the European Super League, a lot of football fans have not been happy and have also been protesting worldwide.

The new tournament comprises of 12 clubs. However, one of the 12 clubs have now pulled out and it is premier League champions, Manchester City.

In their statement, it reads, “Manchester City Football Club can confirm that it has formally enacted the procedures to withdraw from the group developing plans for a European Super League."

After pulling out of the competition and returning back to UEFA, UEFA president Ceferin said, “I am delighted to welcome Manchester City back to the European football family. They have shown great intelligence. City are a real asset for the game and I am delighted to be working with them for a better future”.
