Premier League

How Manchester United should line up tonight if they want to win.

Manchester United quest for a trophy under Ole Gunnar Solskjær continues later tonight as they go up against Italian giants, Roma in the UEFA Europa League Semi-finals.

In qualifying for this round, Man United defeated Andalusian side, Granada by 6 goals to nil on aggregate while Roma defeated Dutch Champions, Ajax.

The two sides are in a very contrasting form. The Reds are on a six-game unbeaten run across all competitions currently. However, their previous game ended in a goalless draw against Leeds United in the Premier League. Meanwhile, AS Roma are on a four-game winless streak currently (D2 L2), with their latest game ending in a 3-2 defeat to Cagliari.

Ole Gunnar Solskjær doesn't have a really good record in semi finals. He will surely do all he can today to change the tide. As such, we should be expecting to see a strong Man United line up.

In this article, we'll be taking a look at the club's probable line up for the game:

With a 4-2-3-1 formation, Edinson Cavani is set to be the main man upfront while Paul Pogba and Marcus Rashford occupy the flanks.

Portuguese playmaker, Bruno Fernandes should occupy the AMF position while Fred and youngster, Scott McTominay occupy the double pivot positions.

Harry Maguire and Victor Lindelof are set to retain their spot in the central defensive position while Luke Shaw and Aaron Wan Bissaka play as a left back and right back respectively.

Dean Henderson should also retain his place between the sticks, replacing David De Gea.
