The Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) have develop a new strategy in encouraging her national players whilst representing the nation at both International and local level. In other words, certain initiatives has been put into consideration as NFF President, Amaju Pinnick disclose his plan in partnership with the Nigeria Football Federation to reward an eye-catching cash prize of N10 million to any Nigerian player who reach his/her 100 caps for the Nigeria national team.
According to Amaju Pinnick, the Football Federation will henceforth maintain the gesture of rewarding and honoring its national players that hit 100 games with the Super Eagles and with plan to encourage and convince the players to always put in their best whilst representing their beloved nation (Nigeria), a cash prize of N10 million fixed fee will be allocated to the account of any Super Eagles/Super Falcons players who reach or make 100 international appearances for the Nigeria national team.
Recalling on Nigeria visit to Cape Verde for the 2022 FIFA World Cup qualifier match, Nigeria skipper and prolific winger Ahmed Musa reached his 100 caps landmark and more interestingly motivated the Super Eagles to their second WCQ win against (Cape Verde) as they sits top of the Group C with 6 points from two wins. Interestingly, the NFF President, Amaju Pinnick, promised to gift Ahmed Musa a cash prize of N10 million for reaching 100 apps with the Nigeria Super Eagles.
Amaju Pinnick also noted that the gesture to reward and honor the players that reach 100 games with the national team will be maintained and it will be a compulsory gesture which will be observed by the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF). Arguably, this will be a form of motivation to the players to always put in their best whilst representing the team.
Following Amaju Pinnick's plan to gift N10 million to players who reach their 100 games for the Nigeria Super Eagles, do you think it will be enough to encourage our players amid feeling excited playing for the Nigeria national team or you think more need to be done?.
