Chelsea were defeated by Aston Villa in the premier league and Captain Cesar Azpilicueta was sent off by the referee in that match. Aston villa Goalkeeper Emi Martinez was highly impressive against Chelsea and made a couple of saves. Chelsea have now qualified for next season UEFA Champions League.
Chelsea signed a lot of star players during the era of Frank lampard. Star players including Timo Werner, Kai Havertz, Ben Chillwell, Thiago Silva, Edouard Mendy are all new signings. All these star players have started to regain back their form under Thomas tuchel. One of the best players in the chelsea squad is Ben Chillwell. The brilliant left back have been highly impressive this season and always put on excellent display for the team.
Ben Chillwell is the second defender with the most goals and assists in the premier league this season. He's second only to Liverpool Trent Alexander Arnold.
