Seth Rollins is a WWE Superstar known for his Technicality in the Ring
He pulled off what has come to be known as the 'Heist of the Century' at Wrestlemania 31.
Pro wrestling fans didn't know what to expect as Wrestlemania 31 took place on Sunday, March 29 from Levi Stadium in Santa Clara, Calif.
What they saw was a better than expected show, highlighted by one of the most shocking things in Wrestlemania history, as Seth Rollins cashed in his Money in the Bank briefcase in the main event bout between Brock Lesnar and Roman Reigns to capture the WWE world heavyweight championship.
No one expected it to happen. Fans were expecting Roman Reigns to win the WWE Championship and become the Top guy in WWE.
But midway into Lesnar's title defense against Roman Reigns, Seth Rollins stormed in, took out Reigns and gave Brock Lesnar his Curb Stomp Finisher on the MITB Briefcase. Thereafter he pinned him. He made history in the process becoming the first Superstar to cash in the Money in the Bank briefcase at WrestleMania.
That was how the show was closed...with a new unexpected Champion. Michael Cole was on Commentary duty that day. He was shocked and he called what had just happened the 'Heist of the Century'.
