Ahmed Musa is a popular Nigerian Footballer. He is also the current captain of the Super Eagles.
The GBS Academy product was born on October 14, 1992 in Jos, Nigeria. He hails from Kano state. He has played for JUTH, Kano Pillars, VVV Venlo, CSKA Moscow and Leicester City in the past. The tricky winger is currently on the books of Al-Nassr.
Musa became the first Nigerian to score more than once in a FIFA World Cup match, after scoring twice against Argentina in the 2014 FIFA World Cup. He is also the first Nigerian to score in two FIFA World Cup competitions, after scoring twice against Iceland in the group stage of the 2018 FIFA World Cup.
Ahmed Musa is a divorcee. He was married to Jamila Musa for many years before the marriage hit the rock over allegation of domestic violence.
In April 2017, Musa was involved in a dispute with his estranged wife Jamila, resulting in the police being called to his home. Shortly afterwards, the couple were divorced following "irreconcilable differences".
The failed marriage produced 2 wonderful children, 1 boy and 1 girl. They are identified as Ahmed Musa Jnr and Mariam Musa.
