🖥️ Ivan Rakitic to @SPORT1 "Barça are one of the biggest clubs in the world. I was there for six years and I played 311 games. I really enjoyed Barça. I did not leave sad, I left happy. 13 titles are not so bad, right? I'm very proud to have been part of Barça."
Rakitic left the Camp nou for Sevilla last Summer, after the club made a few clear outs to free up the heavy wage bills at the club.
🎙Ivan Rakitić continues..
🗣: "I really enjoyed Barça. Sometimes something emotional happens to you off the pitch that gives you a sign to do something new. And so it was with me."
Rakitic will be remembered as a Club legend, that's for sure. He was amongst the 2015 Squad that helped the club win an unpresidented treble, he went on to lift 13 trophies at Barca. It's sad the fans were not around to give the Croatian international a standing ovation in his very last game in a Barca shirt.
