Arsenal will be hoping to prevent Scarlets from doing a double over them as they travel to Turf Moor Stadium to face the Burnley.

Following their impressive 3-1 come back victory over Leicester City at the King Power last weekend, Mikel Arteta's side will be hoping to continue with their superb performance.

Despite their victory over Leicester City, Arsenal is still sitting at 10th place in the Premier League table but a victory today could move Arsenal up to the 9th position which brings them a step closer to their European ambitions this season.

The Gunners are unbeaten in their last eight away league games against Burnley (W4 D4), they have also kept clean sheets in four of their last five visits to the turve.

Gunners could be without their attacking midfielder Emile Smith-Rowe who suffered a muscular injury in the 3-1 triumph at The king Power Stadium, although, Mikel Arteta seems to be very positive as he believes the injury is a minor one. The Gunners could boast of a fully fit squad as they have no other injury concerns and the likes of Bukayo Saka and captain Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang are all in contention to start having been dropped to the bench last time out as a result of fatigue and tiredness.

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has scored more Premier League goals against Burnley than he has any other side in the competition (7). However, he did scored an own goal in the first leg against Burnley.

Arsenal should be able to field a good team against Burnley later this afternoon as there are 5 days interval between today's game and their Europa league round 16 clash with Olympiakos which means Mikel Arteta's is under no pressure to rest his key players.

Below is the Arsenal's Predicted lineup that should start against Burnley.

BEN LENO (GK) Bernd Leno will start in goal as usual. Although he was denied a clean sheet against Leicester City as his defenders were a little bit sluggish with the ball at the back and he pay the price but he’s still doing a good job and should retain his spot within the sticks.

KEIRAN TIERNEY (LB). The Scottish player had a wonderful game time against Leicester last weekend, Tierney should should retain his spot ahead of Cedric at the left back position.

GABRIEL MAGALHAES (CB). The Brazilian defender has enjoyed a great partnership with Luiz at the center back position. He will definitely keep his spot along side David Luiz as they hope to keep their good form running as long as possible.

DAVID LUIZ (CB). The Brazilian defener was on target against in their come back victory over Leicester City at the King Power Stadium later weekend, he was fantastic and brilliant to watch, he will keep his spot at heart of the defence against Burnley this afternoon.

HECTOR BELLERIN (RB). The Spain international has been a joy to watch in recent games and he's showing no sign of slowing down, he should keep his spot at right back position as his speed will be very much needed against a defensive side like Burnley.

GRANIT XHAKA (CDM). He always the number one name on the list due to his qualities and work rate. Today will be no difference and the Switzerland international will retain his spot along side Partey at the midfield area.

THOMAS PARTEY (CDM). The Ghanaian midfielder did came on as a substitute against Leicester City in their last league game, he will be handed a spot in the starting lineup against Burnley today to keep midfield area a little bit tighten for the Scarlets.

BUKAYO SAKA (RW). The England International has been wonderful in the past weeks for the Gunners although he was on the bench against Leicester as he was due for a rest, he will be back into the starting lineup against Burnley this afternoon as he looks to get on with his exquisite form.

WILLIAN (LW). Willian was surprisingly handed a start against Leicester in their last league game and he pretty much had a good game so he’s considered to be a fairly realistic option as Arteta has made it clear he prefer willian when the opponent are sitting deep in their defense of which Burnley will do in today's fixture.

PIERRE-EMERICK AUBAMEYANG (ST). The Gabon striker was dropped to the bench in their last league game against Leicester City but will be back in action against Burnley as he hopes to get on with his goal scoring record(7) against the Scarlets.
