A. Group C: Nigeria who lost their last group match at home last week, returned to winning ways today as they comfortably defeated Central African Republic by 2 goals to none, all thanks to Victor Osimhen who scored a brilliant goal in the first half of the game. After Nigeria won 2-0, below is how their group table now looks like, with Nigeria occupying the first position following their victory over CAF today. Cape Verde on the other hand, are occupying the second position with 4 points from 3 matches.
Verdicts: Nigeria and Cape Verdict have a high percentage of finishing in the first and second position respectively following Central African Republic defeats today.
B. Group E:￼ Mali are currently sitting in the first position on their group table with 10 points from 4 group stage matches. Uganda who are also unbeaten in the group stage round, are occupying the second position following their 1-0 victory over Rwanda who are occupying the last position on the table.
Verdicts: Rwanda and Kenya possiblity of qualifying to the next stage of the competition is very low, as they are yet to record a win in the competition group stage round.
