Former Real Madrid goalkeeper who is presently Paris Saint German goalkeeper Keylor Navas has expressed what he experienced when he was at Real Madrid. He explained that when he arrived Madrid, he didn't try enough to let the management know he was better than the Club legend Iker Casillas.
The Costa Rican goalkeeper said this when speaking with the press . He said "When I arrived in Madrid, I didn't try to prove I was better than Iker Casillas and that my career would be more successful than his. I have simply tried to take advantage of the opportunity they gave me to work hard, with humility and to do my best."
The 34 years old goalkeeper continued by showing appreciation to his former club fans for supporting him unconditionally. Navas said "I will always be eternally grateful to Real Madrid fans for the unconditional support they showed me and they still show me today despite having changed teams. My teammates at Madrid also always believed in me."
On his feeling about Real Madrid and Paris Saint German, He said "Real Madrid? I had the feeling that a part of the club did not totally believe in me. Now I feel the affection of everyone here in Paris."
