The 2022 FIFA World Cup will take place in Qatar towards the end of next year. This will give Nigerian players the chance to make Africa proud at the global stage. There are already so many talented football players who represent the Super Eagles of Nigeria. However, we need to bring in more players in order to shine at the World Cup next year. Below are three European football stars who should switch allegiance to Nigeria ahead of the FIFA World Cup next year.
He currently plays for Crystal Palace in the English Premier League. He is eligible to play for both Nigeria and the French national team. However, he should switch international allegiance to Nigeria instead of playing for France. This is because the likes of N'Golo Kante and Paul Pogba will not give him the chance to play regularly in the French national team.
2. Tino Anjorin
He has not made any appearance for the English national team. This means that he is still eligible to represent Nigeria at international level. He should really grab this opportunity because he may not get a chance to play for England.
3. Shola Shoretire
The Manchester United star is still a very young player. However, he should decide which country he wants to represent at international level. This is because he is also eligible to represent the English national team. However, he would be very helpful to the Nigerian national team.
