It Would Be Unfair If Ronaldo Is Not Punished By The FA For The Rough Tackling On Jones

It was very much glaring for all to see that Manchester United players were very much under pressure in their game against Liverpool in the MatchDay9 fixture of the English Premier League on Sunday.

After United have lost two games ahead of the Liverpool match, it was very much demanding for the Red Devils to do all they can in order to avoid a loss against Liverpool at Old Trafford.

Though most pundits and football analysts have given the game to the Reds before the kickoff, Manchester United fans and followers still believed that anything can still happen to make the pendulum swing to their side of victory.

Just as the game commenced before one could say "Old Trafford here we are" Liverpool has scored two quick goals in a space of 14 minutes. Keita put the Reds ahead in the 5th minute before Jota made it two in the 14th minute. With the scoreline at 2-0, the Red Devils became jittery and confused as the players lost control of the game giving their visitors the opportunity to take full charge of the game.

As United players were playing without a particular pattern, the Reds were banging in the goals one after the other and the scoreboard reads 4-0 by the end of the first half.

The game eventually ended 5-0 in favour of the Reds who were on a rampage against their hosts Manchester United who look so disorganized and miserable even with the presence of the world-rated Cristiano Ronaldo who did the unthinkable in the encounter.

There is a need for the FA to take a second look at Ronaldo's tackle on Jones during the tension-soak match. Though the center referee gave Ronaldo a yellow card after a VAR check on the tackle, it seems that Ronaldo was under pressure to score a goal as Man United was trailing behind Liverpool by 5-0.

It would be unfair if Ronaldo is not properly punished by the FA for the rough tackling on Jones.

Do you think that Ronaldo should be left alone or the FA needs to look into the Ronaldo/Jones tackle and probably Ronaldo deserves a straight red card instead of the yellow he was given?
