Why VAR And Referee Were Wrong With The 2 Penalty Decision In Chelsea vs Malmo Game

The Video Assistant Referee and the Center Referee made two wrong decisions in Chelsea match against Malmo at Stamford Bridge.

Both teams started the game with high intensity but Chelsea started the game with higher intensity than Malmo. The blues were Impressive in the first 10 minutes of the game after creating several goal scoring chances.

Timo Werner could have scored the first goal of the match but was wasteful in front of goal. Chelsea defender Christensen scored his first goal for the club in the 9 minutes of the game after converting a brilliant assist from Silva.

It was a well deserved goal for Chelsea because Thomas Tuchel's boys were all over their opponent. The VAR should have cancelled the Referee's Red Card decision against Malmo in the 19th minutes of the match.

It was a clear tackle by the Malmo defender on Romelu Lukaku but the Center Referee pointed to the penalty spot. The Video Assistant Referee should have reviewed and Cancelled the penalty because the defenders leg touched the ball before hitting Romelu Lukaku.

Lukaku was substituted immediately the incident happened due to the tackle by the Malmo defender. Jorginho capitalized on the foul by scoring Chelsea's second goal of the match in the 21 minutes of the game.

Malmo were poor defensively because Chelsea attack were Timo Werner, Mason Mount and Kai Havertz Impressive.

It was a good first half performance from Chelsea as they defeated Malmo by 2-0 in the first 45 minutes of the game. Chelsea scored the 3rd goal of the match through Kai Havartz in the 48th minutes of the game.

It was a brilliant finish from the German International who converted a brilliant assist from Odoi. Chelsea scored the 4tg goal of the match through Jorginho from the penalty spot.

Another controversial penalty decision by the Video Assistant Referee after awarding a penalty to Chelsea. It was a shoulder to shoulder challenge on Rudiger and that should not have been a penalty.

Jorginho scored his second goal of the match to give Chelsea a well deserved 4-0 victory.
