Arsenal have been tipped to sign at least five players this summer after Stan Kroenke provided the Gunners with a cash injection.
The Premier League have now confirmed their dates for this summer’s transfer window, with clubs able to make signings from July 27 to October 5, while a domestic-only window with the EFL will be added until October 16.
Mikel Arteta will no doubt aim to be one of the managers busy doing business as he looks to strengthen his squad following a disappointing season, which could see them fail to qualify for Europe.
The Gunners haven’t had the same backing their rivals have enjoyed in recent windows, but that could change this time around with Kroenke pumping money into the club.
Arsenal informed the London Stock Exchange of their plan to redeem bonds linked to the construction of the Emirates Stadium.
That cash injection will help ease the financial constraints caused by the coronavirus pandemic, and may allow Arteta to splash some cash in the transfer market.
And, speaking to GentingBet , former Gunner Kevin Campbell expects there to definitely be three new signings this summer, and feels more could follow.
"Arsenal need four or five players across the board,” Campbell said. “They need centre-halves, I can see them going for one or two players in that position.
"They also need central midfielders, and more energy across the midfield and either another striker or a wide player.
"I could see three players coming to Arsenal, dependent on recruitment and transfer budget – I'm not sure what's going to happen and I'm not sure who Arteta is looking at.”
This transfer summer will be favourable for the team and it will really change the team and help them.
