Manchester City football club has been boosted by the availability of two of its first-team players. The premier league champions will be the away team when they take on Club Brugge on matchday 3 of the champions league campaign.

However, the duo of Gabriel Jesus and Ederson was absent in Manchester City's 2-0 win over Burnley, and that was down to their participation in Brazils' world cup qualifying match against Uruguay, which took place a few hours earlier than the premier league match at the Etihad Stadium.

The Citizen's boss, Pep Guardiola said the Brazilian duo could play in today's champions league match and that they have been in Belgium since they finished their jobs with the national team.

Meanwhile, The Catalan gaffer will be hoping to lead his side back to winning ways after suffering a 2-0 loss to Paris Saint-Germain in their last outing in the European competition.
