LIV 7-0 MUN: Ten Hag Releases First Words After Man United's Demolition At Anfield

Manchester United boss, Erik ten Hag, has reacted to his side's 7-0 defeat demolition at Anfield against Liverpool on Sunday.

Cody Gakpo, Darwin Nunez and Mohamed Salah all scored twice as Liverpool blew Manchester United away at Anfield.

Roberto Firmino rounded off the scoring after his introduction in the second-half to give Liverpool a dominant 7-0 scoreline against Manchester United.

The Dutchman has also released his verdict on Manchester United's Premier League defeat at Merseyside that has completely ruled out their chances of challenging Man City and Arsenal for the Premier League title.

"I think we played a decent first half. [We committed] one mistake in organisation just before half-time.

"Second half it was just not us. It was not our standards. We didn't play as a team.

"It was unprofessional. Yes [I am angry]. Definitely.

"We didn't stick to the plan and we didn't do our jobs. We didn't track back and it was really unprofessional," Ten Hag told BBC MOTD.

The Dutchman will now have to rally his troops this take on Real Betis on Thursday night before hosting Southampton in the Premier League on Sunday.
