Napoli suffered a 3-2 defeat against Spartak Moscow in today's Europa League fixture as they missed the chance to go top of Group C.
Victor Osimhen came on in the 45th minute and scored a late goal, but it was not enough to save his team from defeat. Overall, the Nigerian international had a good game and his presence upfront caused problems for the Spartak Moscow defenders.
Osimhen has now scored seven goals in his last five games. Eailer Today, The 23-year old was named in Gernot Rohr's 23 man list for Nigeria's double header against Central Africa Republic in World Cup qualifiers which will be played on October 7th and 10th.
No doubt both matches will be a test of the Super Eagles' credentials, but Osimhen's red-hot form will give the team confidence.
