Barca Remain Determined To Get Past Disagreements And Renew The Relationship With Lionel Messi

Thanks to a stunning report that Xavi Hernandez is pressing for the Argentine superstar's comeback, Lionel Messi has dominated the news this week in and around Barcelona.

In order to bring Messi back to Camp Nou in 2023, even the board is willing to assist and may take all necessary measures. Barcelona wants to re-sign Messi for a variety of reasons, with a particular emphasis on the financial aspect of the deal.

However, getting Messi back to the Camp Nou may be a very challenging task. According to Adria Albets, the club and the attacker are currently at odds, especially following his abrupt exit last year.

Barcelona is still dedicated to putting the past behind them and moving forward with their relationship with the player in an effort to re-sign Messi in the summer of 2019.

The end of the current season will mark the end of Messi's current contract with Paris Saint-Germain. Although other teams around the world are certain to make the Argentine a much more expensive offer, this should allow Barcelona to sign him for nothing.

The top offensive player is being pursued by a number of teams for the upcoming season, including Inter Miami, but Barca are confident that the player will follow his heart rather than his wallet.

Albets contends that Xavi is also essential to how this transfer drama plays out, but the Catalans now place a high value on Messi.

The Argentine star and the Barca coach get along well, and with their combined efforts, the squad could be able to convince the Argentine star to return to Barcelona for the upcoming season.
