Joe Gomez's Relentlessness And The Two Other Things Observed From Liverpool Training Session Today

Liverpool players were finally back in training today after having an unconvincing performance in the Premier League this week. The Reds were unable to defeat a small team in Brentford as they both played a dramatic 3-3 draw at the Brentford Community Stadium on Saturday. The Anfield giants were active in training today as they prepared for their next Champions League fixture against FC Porto tomorrow. Liverpool will travel to face the Portuguese team at the Estádio do Dragão on Tuesday and they have all intention of securing another three important points in the competition this season.

Well, in today's article I will be sharing the three things I observed from Liverpool training session so kindly stay tuned.

1, Only A Few Players Were Absent From Liverpool's Training Session Today.

The Liverpool's team was 95 percent complete today as their players were fully involved in training activities. Thiago Alcantara and Harvey Eliott were the only two 1st team players absent from training today and this is was due to injuries they sustained in their previous matches. Both players will definitely not feature for Liverpool in their next Champions League fixture against Porto.

2, Joseph Gomez Continues Training To Regain First Spot In The Liverpool's Team This Season.

Joseph Gomez has been sidelined by Jurgen Klopp this season despite recovering from a long-term injury. The 24-year-old was previously seen as a 1st choice defender for Liverpool but he is currently seen as a potential benchwarmer at the club. The English International was spotted in training today as he kept on with the hard work to regain Jurgen Klopp's trust this season.

3, The Players Did More Warm-Up Exercises Rather Than Practicing With The Ball.

Liverpool players were more involved in warm-up exercises in training today as they didn't focus on practising with the ball. The players jogged, ran and did some other exercise routines to maintain full fitness ahead of their next Champions League fixture against Porto.
