Meet another in-form Nigerian star who has scored 8 goals in 7 matches played

Almost everyone has been showering praises on Super Eagles of Nigeria striker Victor Osimhen, following his goal scoring form for Napoli football club (9 goals in his last 8 matches), and he has also scored two goals for Nigeria national team in their last four games.

The former LOSC Lille star was able to extend his goal scoring form on Thursday night, as he came from the bench to score a goal in Napoli 3-0 victory over Legia Warsaw FC in the UEFA Europa League.

Many Nigerian strikers have been doing pretty well since the beginning of the season, and they are scoring a lot of goals for their clubs, and among them are; Paul Onuachu, Taiwo Awoniyi, Sadiq Umar and Stephen Odey.

Among the aforementioned players, only Stephen Odey has almost the same goal scoring record as Victor Osimhen this season, as he has scored 8 goals in his last 7 matches played for Randers football club in all competitions.

The Nigerian youngster was signed by Randers FC from Belgium Pro League giants KRC Genk on a season long loan deal, following his remarkable spell at Amiens FC last season, and he was able firing from all cylinders since then.

Odey has scored three braces for Randers football club this season, and the goals were scored against Nordsjaelland FC, Amager FC, and against Jablonec FC in the UEFA Europa Conference League on Thursday.

He has also scored a goal each against Brondby football club and OB Odense FC, and that takes his total goals in his last 7 matches to 8.

The 23 years old excellent performance has made him to be linked with a move to many European clubs ahead of the January transfer window, and he will be looking forward to continuing his impressive goal scoring form when Randers FC play their next game.
