The Red Devils hope to of a smooth run to European qualification for next season took a huge.
It would have been a very comfortable run by now had they won against Southampton and Chelsea lost to Norwich city. But the story was inverse as United drew 2-2 and Chelsea later won 1-0.

Things may become better if the club can get a comfortable win over Crystal Palace and then ask Chelsea to lose to Liverpool. The Anfield outfit lost in their previous outing against Arsenal by 2-1 and don't seem bothered with losing as they don't have anything to lose.
The English champions are only targeting record points total which has already been lost in their defeat to Arsenal. Manchester United have a superior advantage their nearest rivals.
Leicester will play host to Sheffield United on Thursday evening while United will host Palace.
Tottenham Hotspur will play host to Leicester city before the final game against United ( Leicester vs Man United).
United have now a tricky way to Europe but, they will hopefully make it.
